Career & Life Blending. What is it?
The key to fulfillment is making choices that will engage where the meaning resides in your career and life.
Career & Life Blending™ is a program that provides tools for career and personal development needs of individuals in order to meet their individual and organizational performance needs.
It is often viewed as an incentive or benefit program as it is most often provided to key or high-performing employees. It also supports on-boarding and engagement initiatives. In some cases it is utilized as an alternative to outplacement.
Career & Life Blending programs have been described as the Swiss Army Knife for career engagement because it provides tools and services that address and satisfy the career and personal development needs of individuals at various stages of their career.
It also helps people bust their own drama, which often causes career distraction and dissatisfaction.
Career & Life Blending helps participants mindfully understand the relationship between their roles and values and what impact these have on their definition of success. The program gives individuals the ability to develop a visual picture of where they are and where they want to be, in order to align these with their career and organizational goals.
It is a multi-layered career development program combining: roles, values, competencies, organizational performance goals, communication and leadership development needs, personal brand and career cycle attributes.
Career & Life Blending makes these layers and complexities clear and simple.
The individualized consulting format is comprised of 5 Key Consulting Sessions, the first four are delivered within 3-4 months, and the final/fifth Consulting Session is scheduled six-months following the fourth meeting. Each session will conclude with a summary to be added to the career development plans and the next reflective exercise.
